Mount Baker Wilderness & Artist Point Elopement - Brooklyn & Noah

When I arrived to get some getting ready shots of Noah and he revealed he had forgotten his pants, I knew their elopement was going to be amazing.

Let’s back up a bit. Brooklyn contacted me about 2 weeks before their wedding to see if I was available to do video for their elopement. Thankfully I was and cut to two weeks later and it’s the night before their elopement and I check in to my airbnb in Glacier and it is SMOKEY. Like, I throw up my drone to take a video of how smokey it is and it won’t even fly because the sensors can’t see through the smoke.

So we’re scrambling and texting back and forth and decide to just wait and see what the next day brings. I wake up the next day and it is like night and day, you’d never know that the day before it was so smokey. But hey, I’ll take it.

I meet up with the wonderful Tashana who is their photographer for the day and we head out to the cabin they’re all getting ready at. We hang out with Brooklyn for a while as she gets her makeup done and then we head to meet Noah and he utters the famous words “I forgot my pants”. He calls up Brooklyn to let her know and they both decide to just do it anyway. Thankfully he had a pair of nice jeans and you honestly couldn’t tell they weren’t what he’d originally been going to wear.

Once everyone is dressed we head up to Mount Baker to the amazing spot Tashana found for their ceremony, which was just beautiful and at the perfect time as the sun headed behind the mountain. Once they’d said their I Do’s we did some cake cutting, license signing and then headed off for a ton of couples portraits around the mountain. We ended up at Artist Point for the sunset and it was just perfect.

Check out their video below and if you are still needing a videographer for 2023 or 2024 don’t hesitate to reach out!
