Top things of March

We're into Spring now! But apparently no-one told the Pacific Northwest because it is still raining EVERY DAMN DAY. At least I had these things to distract me in March.

Things I bought...
- I added 5 new Star Wars t-shirts to my ridiculously large Star Wars t-shirt collection. Has anyone ever uttered the words "Star Wars t-shirt collection" before? I think I'm up past 20 now...
-But I don't just buy Star Wars tees! I also bought one for my new favorite comic Paper Girls. Diversity is what it's all about.

Things I watched...
-Iron Fist, the fourth defender showed up and it was....not terrible. It got really slammed by critics but I actually enjoyed it more than Luke Cage.
-Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, I think I hyped this up too much in my own head and ended up not enjoying it as much as I hoped. Hopefully they can redeem it with future installments.
-Outlander, I got about halfway through the second season, I'm enjoying it though it is definitely a slow burn of a show.
-Grace & Frankie, I love this show! I'm basically going to be all the characters in one body when I get to that age.
-Get Out, I wasn't sure what to expect of this movie going in but I absolutely loved it. If you haven't seen it go do so, you won't be disappointed.

Things I read...
-One Second After, I picked this one up in the Amazon Books store at UVillage when browsing and was almost turned away by the "Foreword by Newt Gingrich" sticker on the front. It actually turned out to be really good and a quite terrifying look at life if an EMP hit the US.
-One Year After, the second part of the trilogy that started with the book above. This one was a bit slow in the beginning but picked up by the end.
-Shutter Magazine, a beautiful coffee table like magazine with a bunch of informative articles about photography. I can definitely see myself subscribing to this.

Things I played...
-Horizon: Zero Dawn, still playing this pretty sure I'm almost finished now and I have loved every second. I want a sequel and yet I don't want them to ruin its perfection.
-Oxenfree, a rare for me mobile game that is about some kids exploring an island in the Puget Sound.
-Roll For The Galaxy, a board game with A LOT of dice that at first I was very confused by but ended up enjoying (and winning).
-Blood Rage, a board about attacking the Norse worlds before Ragnarok hits. Another game I won!

Things I listened to...
-My Dad Wrote A Porno, this has to be the funniest thing I have experienced in years. If you haven't listened, you have to give it a try. This guys Dad wrote "erotic literature" and he and two friends read it chapter by chapter and critique it. Good smutty fun.
-Betty Who The Valley, I've liked Betty Who for a while but never really listened to her albums, this one I really enjoy though. It's upbeat and poppy and easy to listen to.

I feel like I'm forgetting something though....I swear I did something else in March.....oh that's right, I adopted a puppy! The first Saturday in March we brought home Loki, our eight month old Pitbull mix. He's proved to be a handful but he's adorable so he gets away with it.
