A sweet morning engagement session at Seattle College Arboretum
Usually when I’m talking about the “arboretum” I mean the Washington Arboretum but for this gay engagement session, I headed to a different arboretum!
Eric & Tu met me at the Seattle College Arboretum early on a Sunday morning for their engagement session. I hate asking couples to get up early but it’s great for two reasons: the light is better and there’s nobody else around. Doing couples photos is usually the first time people get professional photos done and it can be quite intimidating so to have random people just wandering through the whole time only makes things worse.
But thankfully we were there early enough that we had the whole arboretum to ourselves. We wandered around and they told me the adorable story of how they met, a meet-cute in Seattle turned into long distance from Washington to Texas turned to both of them living in Washington and engaged!
Eric and Tu had the perfect match of energy between them. Their energies didn’t match in that they were the same, but that they complimented each other. Tu, like me, is like a hummingbird: always moving, verbalizing every thoughtand emotion. While Eric is more stoic and calming. Even in the short time I spent with them I could tell hey fit together so perfectly.
