One of the things I wanted to do to honor my pup Kirby who passed away last year was to work with a rescue organisation in his name. To that end I've been working with Forgotten Dogs Rescue for the past six months, attending their adoption events and also doing one on one portrait sessions with some of their pups.
When they approached me about donating a photo session for their upcoming fundraising auction I immediately said yes. Kelly was one of the winning bidders and two weeks ago I headed up to Edmonds to meet her and Moto at the dog park.
When we were messaging about arranging the shoot Kelly said that Moto was getting on in years and so she wanted to do this session so that when the time comes she'll have some photos of him. Truly that is an honor beyond words and hopefully I managed to accomplish that for her.
