Jamie Buckley Photography takes Chicago!

My trip to Chicago to capture the Millersauruses wedding was my first ever visit to Chicago. I took a red eye flight out a few days before, also a first and probably a last, so that I could explore the city a bit.

The weather thankfully held out, it wasn’t too hot but it was very humid and muggy. Chicago is a very easy city to get around thanks to it’s vast train network. I was staying up North in Edgewater but I could get downtown in about twenty minutes from a train station two blocks away. Take note Seattle!

What would a visit to Chicago be without some deep dish pizza? I chose to patronize Pizzeria Due and after a forty minute wait I received a personal pizza which was divine. The crust was flaky and buttery, there was cheese, cheese and more cheese and not too much sauce. If I lived in Chicago I would eat much too much pizza I think.

I also visited another Chicago institution, the “Bean” in Millennium Park. It’s a very odd little sculpture but the park it’s in was beautiful to stroll through with it’s various other sculptures and fountains.
