Gig Harbor Backyard Wedding / Jack & Faye

Jack and Faye hosted their closest family and friends for their dream backyard wedding, and it was the most intimate wedding celebration of the summer.

They started with a first look where they exchanged private vows that brought each other to tears. The ceremony was officiated by Jack’s big brother who brought so many personal touches to the script. After the ceremony we did a quick round of family portraits but Faye had told me she wanted to spend the day with her people, not taking posed photos. So that’s what we did! Dinner was a buffet of pizza (my favorite) and they had long family style tables that had everyone talking to everyone.

After dinner Faye changed into her evening dress and we did pop away for a quick round of couple photos to show it off properly. When they got back they cut their cake on the way, just the two of them, before launching onto the dance floor for a quick first dance that they quickly turned into an every guest dance party. That’s where I left them, dancing away into the night with all their closest friends.
