Mukilteo Rosehill Community Center Wedding // Robin & Katy

I started Katy & Robin's wedding day by meeting Robin for some fishing.....on a pier that didn't allow fishing. But that was okay because we didn't actually do any fishing, Robin just wanted to get some photos with his Dad and Brother incorporating something they all love.

From there we headed to the Rosehill Community Centre for the getting ready photos with the rest of his groomsmen. Meanwhile my second shooter Delia was with Katy and her bridesmaids capturing their getting ready.

We then all met up outside the community center for their First Look. I love first looks, and this was definitely one for the books. As soon as Robin turned around and saw Katy he was overcome with emotion, and that's exactly as it should be because she looked stunning! After a couple minutes to get their bearings and take each other in, we headed down to the promenade to do some couples photos and then invited the bridal party to join us for some group shots.

Then it was time for the main event! The church Katy & Robin were having their ceremony in was just beautiful. Their ceremony too was beautiful with readings from their family, a coin ceremony and of course a little kiss at the end!

When the ceremony was over we captured some family photos at the altar and then headed back to the community center where Robin & Katy went straight into their first dance surrounded by their bridal party. It was a beautiful and tender moment.

After a couple speeches by Katy's mom, maid of honor Keri and best man James, it was time to eat and let me tell you this food was amazing! I had to restrain myself for going back for seconds, thirds, fourths....

While everyone digested their dinner, Katy & Robin cut their amazing Lego cake and then learned some truths about each other via the shoe game. They then invited all the married couples to the dance floor for the generation dance. I think the final couple on the floor had been married for 53 years!

Then it was time to party and party they did! DJ Becka kept the dancefloor full all night with a great selection of tunes and fan favorites. I imagine there was definitely a few people with sore throats the next morning from all their singing!
