Love letters to my wonderful clients and their amazing wedding days.
Sunkissed and snarky springtime Rattlesnake Lake engagement session
Akela and Billie’s engagment session at Rattlesnake Lake was filled with all kinds of adorable interactions, as well as a healthy dose of snark.
A woodsy, queer couple video session // Loren and Aeden
I don’t remember when I first met Loren anymore but we’ve been friends for at least four years that I can work out so when I needed a couple to model for me for a video session I immediately thought of them and their partner. Thankfully they were available!
A Tacoma micro elopement at gorgeous Elope 253 // Derek and Evelyn
Derek and Evelyn’s city elopement at Elope 253 in Tacoma, Washington was a short but sweet elopement for a couple about to spend a lot of time apart.
A queer, love filled Cannon Beach elopement // Angela and Mayra
Angela & Mayra got married on a cloudy, misty day on Cannon Beach in an adventure elopement that you can’t help but smile at when you see the love that surrounded them.
Late summer sunset Carkeek Park engagement session // Molly and Kenji
Molly and Kenji’s engagement session at Carkeek Park could not have asked for better late summer weather if it had tried. The temperature was just right for walking around but not hot enough to draw everyone else to the park as well.
Intimate Elopement at The Lodge at St Edwards State Park // Rachel and Trent
When I met Rachel and Trent for their consult prior to them booking me for their elopement, we spent almost four hours sitting talking in the sun. So I knew their intimate elopement at The Lodge at St. Edwards State Park was going to be great because it felt like I was showing up and cheering on friends.
A snowy Mountain Springs Lodge wedding day in Leavenworth // Pacifica & Evan
Pacifica & Evan’s wedding day out near Leavenworth at the Mountain Springs Lodge was a winter wedding wonderland.
A fiery Point Defiance Engagement Session // Pacifica and Evan
While I do have some favorite spots and go to’s for engagement sessions, it’s not often that I go to them back to back but that’s what happened last Fall with Point Defiance Park. One night I was there for Adam & Tony’s engagement session and the next night I was there for Pacifica and Evan’s engagement session.
Jessica and Tyler take Gold Creek Pond by storm // Seattle Couple Photography
Jessica is a local florist here in Seattle so when she reached out to me about doing an anniversary couple session for her and her husband Tyler, I’ll openly admit I started hyperventilating. With all the connections she has the in the Seattle Wedding Photographer network, she wanted little old me? I was beyond honored and I knew I wanted to get her and Tyler some special photos.
Frank and Margaret's summer wedding turns up the heat // Seattle Wedding Photographer
This wasn’t your usual wedding. They forewent a lot of the “staples” of a traditional wedding. There wasn’t a wedding party, there wasn’t a DJ, there was no bouquet or garter tossed. There wasn’t even a traditional venue.
But what there was, was a whole lot of love.
Same Sex Summer Sunset Engagement Session at Seattle's Discovery Park
I met Alex and Trevor at Discovery Park on a warm summer evening right before the Fall rains descended on us. Thankfully we managed to stay dry as we wandered around Discovery Park capturing their love and talking about their relationship.
A beautiful Fall Washington Arboretum Elopement // Chelsea and Matt
Chelsea and Matt flew all the way into Washington to elope on the Washington Coast and then decided they could not wait a few days more to be married and so they hired me to capture their beautiful Washington Arboretum elopement on a beautiful Fall morning.
Long Distance Romance Engagement Session // Seattle Wedding Photographer
When I was setting up a consult for Gregg and Lorena, we had a few things to work around, namely the fact that Lorena wasn’t actually in the US but still in Colombia!
Joyful Carkeek Park Summer Engagement Session // Rachel & Trent
When I met Rachel & Trent for their consult we grabbed coffee outside at a coffee shop and we ended up talking for almost four hours and Rachel & I ended up with sunburn (Trent was smart and sat in the shade) but that should tell you something about how well I get on with these two.
Jeep Filled Brown Family Homestead Wedding // Jess and Caroline
When Jess and Caroline asked if they could incorporate their Jeeps into their engagement session because down the line they were going to be a part of their wedding day, I knew their wedding day was going to be great! Not only was the engagement session awesome but their wedding took place at one of my favorite venues in all of Washington: Brown Family Homestead!
Moody Fall Wahclella Falls Engagement Session // Grace and Russell
When Grace reached out to me she told me that she was a bridesmaid at Carly & Ana’s wedding a couple years ago and I was like hmm I don’t recognize the name. But when I went back to their gorgeous day and matched her face to her name I instantly remembered what a fun person she was and so I was very excited for their engagement session!
Spring into a Twin Willow Gardens Wedding // Kaytlyn and Ben
Katylyn & Ben’s wedding was not only my first wedding of 2021, but also my first “big” wedding since COVID happened! They were the first wedding where a lot of people were vaccinated and mask restrictions have begun to be lifted. Remember those wonderful few weeks?
Same Sex Capitol Hill Seattle Couple Session Turns Surprise Proposal!
When Reyna reached out to me to do a couple session and told me that she was planning to propose to her girlfriend during the session, I was of course VERY excited. We planned the session for a couple months, scoped out a few locations and discussed our strategy for signalling each other that it was time.
Same Sex Point Defiance Park Engagement Session // Adam + Tony
When Adam and Tony suggested Point Defiance Park for their engagement session, I was super pumped. However when I got there I discovered that Five Mile Drive was closed and so was Owens Beach, two of the best locations in the whole park!
Sunkissed Rosario Beach Engagement Session // Danielle and John
Whenever couples tell me they want a varied location for their engagement session, I always suggest Rosario Beach. It’s a little out of the way up by Deception Pass State Park but it’s worth the trip. When I went there last year for an engagement session I thought we’d had the perfect weather for it, but this latest engagement session topped even that!
