Love letters to my wonderful clients and their amazing wedding days.
Scotland Wedding // Janie & Garry
Where do I even begin with this one? This wedding has been almost three years in the making for me. In January 2015 I shot Janie & Garry's engagement photos at the Gleneagles golf course and now almost three years later they had me back to shoot their beautiful wedding!
What a difference a year makes.
One year. 365 days. 525,600 minutes. How do you measure a year?
One year ago I brought home my first ever dog. Yes he was Tim’s also but he was the first dog I’d ever had that was mine. I was so happy. I didn’t think my heart could contain my love for him. Which is why it hurt all the more less than two months later when it broke.

Who says cake smashes are only for kids?
So long sunshine
been in Spain for the past 8 days. First was 4 days in Barcelona and then 4 days in Alicante. Barcelona was the "do things" part and Alicante was the "do nothing" part and they both fulfilled their tasks dutifully. Now I have to leave 80 degree sunsoaked weather tomorrow to head back to 60 and rainy weather in Seattle.
Janie & Garry tie the knot: Sneak Peek!
This wedding has been almost three years in the waiting for me, since January 2015 when I did their engagement photos at Gleneagles. Then this weekend it finally happened and it went perfectly!
An afternoon at the park with Teddy!
This past weekend I met up with Teddy and his parents Cassandra and Arthur at a local park.
Homeward bound!
I'm sitting in Seatac Airport just now waiting for my flight to London and then Glasgow to go home to visit family.

Washington Waterfall Engagement // Veronica & Jay
I'm not an early riser, in any way shape or form. If I could sleep until noon everyday I absolutely would. But I also go where the light takes me, and for Franklin Falls that means sunrise.

Sunrise engagement: Sneak peek!
If I'm going to be getting up at 4am for a shoot, the results better be worth it because I love me my sleep!
An evening with the beautiful, and adoptable, Mika!
Last night I had the pleasure of spending some time with the beautiful Mika who is waiting for her forever home. Adoptable through Forgotten Dogs Rescue, she is just the sweetest pup!
Kelly & Moto take the dog park by storm!
One of the things I wanted to do to honor my pup Kirby who passed away last year was to work with a rescue organisation in his name. To that end I've been working with Forgotten Dogs Rescue for the past six months, attending their adoption events and also doing one on one portrait sessions with some of their pups.
Mukilteo Waterfront Elopement // Lisa & Jeff
On a sunny day back in July I had the honor of being present to watch Lisa & Jeff tie the knot at a beautiful, intimate ceremony at the Mukilteo Wedding Circle.
It's not everyday you turn FIVE: Theo's big birthday portrait shoot
I've known Theo (and his parents) since he was just over three. This past summer he turned five and when his parents contacted me to do a shoot to celebrate it, I didn't hesitate to say yes!
