Headshots with a view - Seattle Portrait Photography
When Scott contacted me saying he needed some headshots for a work project, I was happy to help. We arranged to meet at his apartment and he suggested heading up the roof because it had a good view. He understated it a bit as his apartment roof looks out over Lake Union with a view of downtown Seattle to the left, it has to be one of the best views of Seattle I have ever seen!
Best of 2016: Personal
I had a great year professionally in 2016, in my personal life there were some really real highs and some terrible lows.
A lovely day for a walk around Downtown Seattle - Seattle Engagement Photography
I met Lauren and Ryan downtown on New Year's Day to shoot their engagement session. When I got there I discovered that it was actually freezing cold but they were both troopers who never once complained about the weather as I dragged them around various locations!
Best of 2016: Lifestyle

Best of 2016: Weddings
I only decided I was going to start doing weddings proper at the beginning of 2016. If I'm being honest, they terrified me but I figured face my fears and all that and this year I had a blast shooting weddings.

Al in the studio - Seattle Portrait Photography
Al popped in a few weeks ago to get some new headshots to update his website. After doing the formal shots we did some casual ones and then headed outside to get some even more casual ones.
Beauty can be found anywhere
I looked out my window this dreary, wet Sunday afternoon in Seattle and my eye was drawn to this little red toadstool that was trying so hard to bring some colour into the world.
Jamie Buckley Photography takes Chicago!
My trip to Chicago to capture the Millersauruses wedding was my first ever visit to Chicago. I took a red eye flight out a few days before, also a first and probably a last, so that I could explore the city a bit.
Head shots for Kari - Seattle Portrait Photography
My dear friend Kari came into the studio yesterday to do some head shots for her various portfolios and while she was there I couldn’t resist making her do some more relaxed shots that showcased her natural beauty.
The Millersauruses take Chicago - Seattle Wedding Photography
Rachel and Matt’s wedding was perfection from beginning to end. It was low key, laid back and fit them to a tee.
Welcome to the world Hannah - Seattle Family Photography
On Friday I had the pleasure of meeting past client’s Hitomi and Pete’s newest babe Hannah. Just two weeks old and already she was grabbing hands and paying attention to things.
