Love letters to my wonderful clients and their amazing wedding days.
Downtown Seattle Wedding // Patrick & Marc
For those not in the know, Columbia Tower is Seattle's tallest building. 75 stories tall it towers over the surrounding buildings and offers a 360 degree view of Seattle from an unparalleled viewpoint. The top two floors are reserved for the Columbia Tower club which Patrick & Marc used as the venue for their beautiful day.
Tacoma Waterfront Wedding // Michael & Chey
Chey & Michael tied the knot at their beautiful wedding in the historic Court House Square in Tacoma.
Pride Cake Smash!
With all the ugliness surrounding the Supreme Court's decision in the cake baker case I decided I wanted to do something positive to counter it. So I cooked up a plan with some friends and enlisted the magic baking hands of South Fork Cake Co who made the most amazing cake I think I've ever seen. My good friends Alex & Chad then proceeded to smash it into each others faces in the most adorable way.
Vancouver Vineyard Wedding // Jasmine & Nick
Jasmine & Nick’s beautiful Backyard Vineyard wedding day.
Ballard Locks Engagement // Alicia & Taliesyn
My afternoon with Alicia and Taliesyn started at the Ballard Farmers Market, just north of Seattle itself. I've never been before and so while waiting for A&T to arrive (because Seattle traffic) I wandered around and took in all the sights, sounds and smells that it had to offer. I will definitely be going back to sample ALL THE FOOD.
Downtown Seattle Engagement // Patrick & Marc
Patrick & Marc are both transplants to Seattle but they met here, they fell in love here and they wanted that to show through in their engagement session.
Rattlesnake Lake Engagament // Tyler & Elyse
Rattlesnake Lake is a location I've wanted to shoot at for a long time so when Tyler & Elyse said they were down for shooting there I got very excited.
Seattle Golden Gardens Engagement // Bre & Elliott
When I asked Bre & Elliott what kind of setting they wanted for their engagement shoot, they said they wanted something with nature. We definitely got that at Golden Gardens with Mother Nature trying at times to blow up off the beach!
Washington Arboretum Engagement // Ann & Eric
Ann & Eric opted to do their engagement shoot at Washington Arboretum on a cold, Spring day. They brought their own heat.
The Wehners are on fire! Seattle Family Photography
This past weekend I drove down to the Renton Fire Station to meet Megan and her family. Why did we meet at a fire station I hear you ask? Megan's Dad Shawn is the fire chief there and is retiring next month after THIRTY years of service!
Mukilteo Rosehill Community Center Wedding // Robin & Katy
Katy & Robin had the most beautiful day up in Mukilteo at their wedding held at the Rosehill Community Center.
Robin & Katy get married in Mukilteo - Sneak Peek!
Yesterday I travelled 20 minutes North of Seattle to the lovely beachfront town of Mukilteo, to the Rosehill Community Centre to spend the day capturing the beautiful wedding of Katy & Robin.
Everett Courthouse Elopement // Gina & Ross
It was a cold and blustery day when I stepped out of Narrative Coffee to go meet Gina & Ross. We had planned to meet up outside the Courthouse in downtown Everett an hour before their appointment with the Judge. The plan was to do some outdoor portraits of the couple before we headed inside. That was the plan, but the reality was it was freezing cold, 30 degrees to be exact, and what little warmth the sun had brought that day was receding fast. Would they still be up for it?
Snohomish Belle Chapel Wedding // Sarah & Dave
Sarah & Dave tied the knot in a beautiful day at the Belle Chapel in Snohomish.
